Slope Drainage and Rehabilitation

PVC pipe wrapped with Waterbelt can provide an effective solution for seepage control.

Slope Drainage

One end of pipe expanded so the shaped end can fit inside and empty the water travelling through the Waterbelt channels

The assembly is fabricated in 1 meter sections, and the required length is achieved by adding the appropriate number of sections. Water is transferred to the inside of the pipe at each joint so the collection function is not hampered by the water flow inside the pipe.

Waterbelt drains earthworks projects without excavation by drilling an appropriate hole to the required depth and slope and inserting the Waterbelt/pipe assembly into the drilled hole.

Providing proper drainage for slope rehabilitation is an integral part of projects involving stabilization, anchoring, or erosion control. Excavation for drainage is usually not a practical or cost effective solution.
PVC pipe wrapped with Waterbelt and inserted into holes drilled horizontally into the earth is a technically sound and economical solution for a difficult problem..

PVC pipe wrapped with Waterbelt can provide an effective solution for seepage control at a reasonable price. Equipment requirements are minimal and installation is quick and simple.

After drilling to the design depth and at a slight slope to ensure the water will flow to the outside, the Waterbelt/pipe assembly is pushed into the hole.

The slope rehabilitation is complete and ready to guard against the elements.
